


Accounts synchronised to EndNote X9 are active for 2 years from the first sync with EndNote 20. If you do have EndNote 20 installed on your PC/Mac, you can create an EndNote Online account with unlimited storage, or upgrade your existing EndNote Online Basic account to one with unlimited storage. If you do not, your account level will be changed to EndNote Online Basic, with a limited number of reference styles. In order to keep your EndNote Online institutional account active whilst you are at the University, you must log into EndNote online from a campus PC or through the Web of Science database at least once within a year after creating the account. Once you have logged in, you can then click on the 'Downloads' tab to download the Cite While You Write plug-in: Once you have registered, you can then enter your username and password via to login to EndNote Online.Click on ‘Register’ and complete the fields to create an EndNote Online institutional account, or if you have already created an account with Web of Science or ResearcherID, you can use these credentials to login to EndNote Online without registering.If you do not have EndNote 20 installed on your PC/Mac, it is recommended that you create an EndNote Online institutional account via QUB’s Web of Science subscription.
